Responsibilities:
- Payment Processing:
- Accurately post and reconcile incoming payments in accordance with established procedures.
- Ensure timely and precise application of payments to the corresponding accounts.
- Check Management:
- Handle the processing and tracking of checks received by the organization.
- Collaborate with team members to address any discrepancies or issues related to check payments.
- Mail Handling:
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail related to financial transactions.
- Ensure the secure and organized handling of sensitive financial documents.
- Data Entry:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions in the company's database.
- Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communication:
- Collaborate with internal teams to address inquiries and discrepancies related to payments and checks.
- Communicate effectively with clients when necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or accounting is a plus.
- Proven experience in a finance support role or similar position.
- Strong proficiency in data entry and use of financial software.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
